Having a strong fascination with skulls led me to illustrate a couple of letters using human bones in their correct anatomical place. I then decided to create a typeface as a result of this.
Interactive Book design
The story "I Didn't Like Hubert" was written by Genvieve Clay-Smith, who wanted to teach children that it was more than ok to be different.
The story follows an ordinary girl, and a extrordinary boy named Hubert, who's wild imagination takes him wherever he wants to go.
We wanted to create an e-book merged with a game. A strong narrative with beautiful designs, mixed with game-play, user experience and interactive elements.
My involvement spanned from storyboarding, initial concepting, environment design, character design and UI.
Personal branding to represent Anna Kovesi Creative. The idea was to create something quirky, illustrated and ever-changing, just like myself.
BOOK COVER DESIGN
A personal project to redesign 3 of my favorite Penguin Classics books with a fresh take and a "collector" feel. Each cover represents key characters and moments in the story, collaged into one image. The cover represents the act of reading a book; as you read more, you uncover more about the characters and the story.
Something I'm very passionate about is stationery, paper stock and invitations. So here's a couple of templates I've designed over the last year. All styling, illustration and designs were created myself.
